Follow these steps to troubleshoot issues with your Unified Agent installation.
Question: Are you receiving a security error on some websites?
Answer: Make sure the certificate located in your CloudVeil downloads is correctly installed in Firefox. On Mac, make sure the security is "Trusted". See this FAQ.
Question: Is your filter blocking access to the Internet?
Answer: This filter should fail open. If it's blocking access to the Internet, then it is likely either an issue with your computer or possibly related to your installed antivirus or another filter interfering.
Question: Is your filter not blocking YouTube or Google Images as you had hoped?
Answer: Check to see if the problem only occurs in Chrome or if it's also occurring in Internet Explorer or Firefox. Once you've identified where it's occurring, contact us at email@example.com for the proper solution.
Question: Does your filter seem to not be working at all?
Answer: Something is likely preventing your filter from connecting to our cloud service. Try disabling your antivirus software to see if that makes a difference. See this FAQ Some satellite Internet services also prevent the Unified Agent from connecting.
