Overview
This guide explains how to install and activate the CloudVeil Browser for iOS (CV4i).
The CloudVeil Browser for iOS (CV4i) can be purchased through CloudVeil.org or through the App Store.
Before You Start
The CloudVeil Browser for iOS (CV4i) requires a subscription. The features available depend on where the subscription was purchased.
CloudVeil.org Subscription
Includes the Relaxed Policy (three 15-minute uses per day for YouTube by default) and allows customizable block/allow lists per device or account.
App Store Subscription
Provides basic filtering only. Does not include Relaxed Policy or custom block/allow list options.
Note: If switching from App Store to CloudVeil.org, cancel the App Store subscription first to avoid double charges. Manage it at Settings > iCloud / Apple Account > Subscriptions > CloudVeil Browser.
Install and Activate CV4i
- Download the CloudVeil Browser (CV4i) app from the App Store.
- Open CV4i.
- In the top-right corner, tap the profile icon to open Settings.
- Select CloudVeil Log-in.
- Enter your email address and device description.
- Tap Submit.
- Open the activation email you receive.
- Tap the activation link to finish registering.
⚠️ Important Note
CV4i does not configure device restrictions automatically.
To fully protect your device, you should set up device restrictions separately to limit access to other browsers, apps, and settings.
