Step 1: Before You Begin

You will need:

  • CloudLocker installed on the phone
  • Access to the correct CloudVeil account

Step 2: Set Up CloudLocker

  1. Make sure CloudLocker is open.
  2. If you are not signed in to CloudLocker, use the CloudLocker credentials from your My Filters page, unless CloudVeil Support provided different credentials.
  3. Accept any permission prompts that appear.
  4. Before proceeding, make sure CloudLocker is turned on in Accessibility settings.

Step 3: Prepare the Phone for Supervision

Before connecting the phone to CloudVeil SuperVisor, complete these steps on the Android device.

  1. Sign out of all linked accounts on the phone, including Google, WhatsApp, and CloudVeil Messenger.
  2. Make sure CloudLocker is installed. You may be signed in or not signed in at this point.
  3. Open Settings on the Android device.
  4. Go to About phone.

  6. Tap Build number several times until Developer Options are enabled.
  7. Go back to Settings.
  8. Open Developer Options.
  9. Turn on USB Debugging.
  10. Accept the warning prompt if it appears.

Android settings can vary by device. If you cannot find Developer Options or USB Debugging, see Google's instructions here: Configure on-device developer options.

Step 4: Install and Sign In to CloudVeil SuperVisor

Important: Make sure you have the latest version of CloudVeil SuperVisor installed before continuing. Older versions may not include the latest Android supervision process.

Download and install the latest version of CloudVeil SuperVisor on your Windows computer.

Or open your browser and go to manage.cloudveil.org/ios-supervisor/download/latest

Open CloudVeil SuperVisor and make sure you are signed in with the correct CloudVeil account. This should be the account you want the Android device supervised under.

Step 5: Supervise the Android Device

  1. Connect your Android phone to the computer using a USB cable.
  2. On the phone, enable USB Tethering in Settings > Network & Internet.
  3. If an Allow USB debugging? prompt appears on the phone, tap Allow.
  4. In CloudVeil SuperVisor, click on the device in the list and then click Next.
  5. SuperVisor will ask for permission to download the AppLocker APK. Click Yes.
  6. SuperVisor will show a Success! message. Click Next.
  7. SuperVisor will register and supervise the device.
  8. When finished, SuperVisor will open CloudLocker.
