Remove CloudVeil DNS from macOS

If you’re still seeing CloudVeil block pages after uninstalling CloudVeil for Mac, your device may still have CloudVeil DNS servers set in your network settings.

Step 1: Open DNS Settings

  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to Network
  3. Select your active connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet)
  4. Click Details
  5. Go to the DNS tab

Step 2: Look for DNS Servers

DNS Servers: Encrypted DNS Servers or IP addresses

Check for any of these:

  • 2604:a880:cad:d0::b9a8:6001
  • 2600:3c00:e000:ab5::1

Step 3: Remove Them

  • Select each CloudVeil DNS entry
  • Click the “–” (minus) button to remove it

Step 4: Refresh Your Connection

  1. Close your browser completely
  2. Open Terminal
  3. Run:
sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
  1. Enter your password (you won’t see it while typing)

Result

You should now be able to browse without CloudVeil block pages.
