Filter Install

Questions about installing your filter? Go to your My Filters page at: cloudveil.org/my-account/my-filters/


 

Choosing either the Install or + Setup Device button will get you the following options:

  • iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  • Android

  • Windows

  • macOS


Based on your choice of operating system, you may have additional items to choose from.

 

iOS (iPhone/iPad

First, choose your type of filter.

  • CV4i: CloudVeil Browser for iOS (CV4i) is a filter browser app. It does not filter other apps and requires the use of additional Screen Time restriction settings.
  • Global: Global is a whole device filter. It filters Safari and most in-app browsers in other apps, and blocks access to some inappropriate apps. Access to a computer is required to install this filter.

Android

For Android, you will need to configure your settings.

Filtering

Select the appropriate age group for filtering levels.

  • Adult: Standard filtering for mature users
  • Youth: Enhanced filtering and restrictions for younger users.

Choose Next to configure your browser protection.


Browsers

  • Blue/CV4A: Filtered browser with comprehensive protection
  • VPN (filters all browsers): System-wide filter for all browsers and apps.

Choose Next to set up CloudLocker.


CloudLocker Setup

You will receive the credentials for setting up CloudLocker on your device.

  • Username: the-account-email
  • Password: enter this in CloudLocker
